GT2, Pampanini-Calamia starring in Valencia!

Roberto Pampanini and Mauro Calamia finish second overall and first in class in the first race held in Valencia in the fifth round of the GT2 European Series...

Valencia (SPA). It was a weekend of two halves for Dinamic Motorsport in the fifth round of the GT2 European Series, held at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia. In Race 1, the #7 Maserati GT2 driven by Roberto Pampanini and Mauro Calamia showed competitive and consistent pace. After a solid first stint in the hands of Pampanini, it was Calamia who took center stage with a spectacular duel against the Mičánek team's Lamborghini. The Swiss driver managed to get the better of Rosina, bringing the car to second place overall and to victory in the ProAm class. Race 2, on the other hand, proved to be more bitter. Starting from pole position, Calamia managed the early stages authoritatively in the rain, maintaining the lead with the gold-colored Maserati perfectly at ease in wet conditions. Halfway through the race, however, a sudden puddle betrayed the driver, who ended up crashing into the barriers. Dinamic Motorsport's race was thus cut short, leaving the team with the regret of a potentially valuable result. Despite the incident, the weekend in Valencia confirmed the competitiveness of the Dinamic-Maserati package in an increasingly exciting GT2 season.
