Le Castellet (FRA). The GT2 European Series season opens on the French circuit of Paul Ricard in an encouraging way for Dinamic Motorsport: with the Maserati GT2 with its unmistakable gold livery, the pair formed by Roberto Pampanini and Mauro Calamia took a precious and well-deserved third place overall in the second race scheduled for the weekend. The race was held in the rain: starting from the fourth spot on the grid was Calamia who, in the first agitated stages of the race, was the victim of a contact that relegated him to the back of the pack. The Swiss driver begins an ardent comeback by making overtakes in difficult track conditions and hands the car over to Pampanini in fifth position. Pampanini finalizes the comeback by crossing the finish line in third place: it's podium, well-deserved and exciting! The first race, held on a dry track, was conditioned by a drive through imposed for incorrect starting procedure and the seventh place overall, fifth in class, was the direct consequence.
