Imola (ITA). In front of an extraordinary crowd at the Imola circuit, Pietro Delli Guanti took third place in the classification reserved for Rookies, also centering a solid top ten overall at the end of a race full of emotions. The young Apulian driver preceded teammate Dirk Schouten, fourth among rookies and also author of a positive performance. The race experienced exciting moments right from the start, with a carambola involving nine cars and forcing race management to show the red flag. Also among the retirees was Aldo Festante, who was hit by another car while in the leading positions. His race ended prematurely, compromised by a contact that left him no chance. Despite some damage sustained in the initial contact, Delli Guanti managed to rejoin the grid for the second part of the race, contested over the distance of twelve laps after the restart. The Dinamic bearer maintained a competitive and consistent pace, which allowed him to finish in the top ten overall and climb on the third step of the podium in the Rookie standings. An encouraging debut for Dinamic Motorsport, which files the first round of the season with good feelings and an eye already turned to the next round, scheduled on the prestigious Monte Carlo city track, in the heart of the Formula 1 weekend.
Pietro Delli Guanti: “First race in this top-level championship and immediately a podium in the Rookie standings: a good starting point. Finishing in the top ten overall is a positive sign, but I know we can do more. The potential is there, now we work to raise the level and continue to grow!!”.
Aldo Festante: “This was not how I envisioned the first weekend in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup 2025. There were all the ingredients for a positive weekend: Imola, Italian fans, lots of friends. The carambola started in front of me at the Tamburello entrance and I was hit as I was about to face the left on the exit. I ended up spinning in the middle of the track, luckily spun with my right side towards the competitors coming up, so I was not hit on my side, but the impact was strong nonetheless”.
Dirk Schouten: “Had a great start to the race avoiding the chaos on track, which made me go from P17 to P9 on lap 1. Unfortunate to all the guys that got involved in the crashes. After lap 1 I had to start from P11(Rookie P4) and kept it there in the race. Loved the atmosphere and driving on this track!”.
