PMSC, still podium among Rookies!

Three Porsche Mobil1 Supercup races and three Rookies podiums for Dinamic Motorsport: in Barcelona, it was Dirk Schouten who took the third step after an intense race; great comeback of Gianmarco Quaresmini, bad luck for Pietro Delli Guanti...

Barcelona (SPA). Dinamic Motorsport archives the first three races of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup with a positive balance in the Rookies standings, winning three consecutive podiums. The latest result came in Barcelona, where Dirk Schouten took third place among the Rookies at the end of an intense and hard-fought race. A result that, although positive, leaves a veil of regret: in fact, the young Dutch driver was in the middle of the fight for second position when he was pushed off the track by an opponent, losing precious ground. Excellent proof of character for Gianmarco Quaresmini, author of an applaudable comeback. Forced to start from the back of the grid due to the cancellation of the qualifying times, the Italian driver recovered ten positions thanks to a solid race full of overtaking. Unlucky day instead for Pietro Delli Guanti, who was unable to complete even one lap. After three consecutive rounds, the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will be back on track at the end of the month at the Red Bull Ring circuit, where Dinamic Motorsport will be ready to confirm its leading role.

Pietro Delli Guanti: “It is unfortunate that we were not in fact able to take part in the race, but that is part of motorsport. Now we look forward with determination: the season is long and full of opportunities to make up for it in a big way!”.

Gianmarco Quaresmini: “I am satisfied with the race: we managed to make a good comeback, recovering several positions thanks to good pace and effective handling. There remains regret for qualifying, where all my times were erased due to track limits that I don't fully agree with. Starting from the bottom is never easy, but the response in the race was positive!”.

Dirk Schouten: “After very good free practice closed with the second best time overall and good qualifying where I got the ninth best time, expectations for the race were high. And in fact it turns out to be a little bit sweet to finish in P3 among the Rookies. I was fighting to finish in P2, but I was pushed off the track and lost valuable positions”.
