PSCS, brilliant start and two wins in Portimao

Dinamic Motorsport starts the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse season with two victories signed by Roderick Christie: the Scot wins Race 1 Open GT and, paired with Matteo Malucelli, the 2H Endurance; Nicola Sarcinelli also does well, finishing twice in the top ten overall in Open GT...

Portimao (POR). An exciting start to the season for Dinamic Motorsport in the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse, with a double win on the Portimão circuit thanks to the technical growth of the drivers and the solid technical structure of the team led by Maurizio Lusuardi. The team from Reggio Emilia appeared at the start of the series with two cars entered in the Open GT class: a Porsche 992 GT3 R entrusted to Christie and a 992 GT3 Cup for Nicola Sarcinelli. After taking pole position, the Scottish gentleman driver led Race 1 from start to finish, signing his first win of the season with a capital performance. In Race 2, Christie again led the race until the final bars, when a slight distraction denied him the one-two, relegating him to an excellent second place anyway. Positive weekend also for Sarcinelli, author of good comebacks in both races and with top ten overall placings. Confirmation of the team's excellent form came in the 2 Hour Endurance race, where Christie, crewed with Matteo Malucelli, scored an exciting success, the result of perfect teamwork, constant pace and impeccable strategy. It was a season opener that bodes well for the upcoming championship events, with Dinamic Motorsport the absolute protagonist from the very first rounds.

Rod Christie: “It was a great weekend! The team did an excellent job providing me with a flawless car that allowed me in all three races to push hard from start to finish. We won two out of three races and that makes me overjoyed: there could not have been a better start to the season!”

Nicola Sarcinelli: “I am satisfied with the weekend because I had a good progression: in both races I made up several positions and had a lot of fun!”.
