The third round of the season of Porsche Sports Cup Suisse held in Imola, closes with a fantastic double for Dinamic Motorsport with Roderick Christie winning the two Open GT races; good performance also for Nicola Sarcinelli...
Imola (ITA). Dinamic Motorsport enriched its season in the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse with two splendid victories. In the third round of the season staged in Imola, Roderick Christie took the top step of the podium in both races of the Open GT category, consolidating his leadership in the championship. The Scottish gentleman driver offered two flawless performances, making the most of the work done by the team. Also positive was the performance of Nicola Sarcinelli, who crossed the finish line in both heats, showing constant improvement and managing to avoid the numerous contacts and accidents that characterized the scorching Imola weekend.
Rod Christie: “Imola is one of my favorite circuits and I am really happy with the weekend. In Friday's free practice the car was quite difficult to drive, but the team intervened exceptionally well and improved the setup considerably. From there on everything changed: the car became much more balanced, as evidenced by the two pole positions won. The two race wins were simply incredible and a source of great satisfaction. I thank the whole team for an amazing job!”
Nicola Sarcinelli: “It was a weekend affected by very high temperatures, but I was able to steadily improve my performance turn by turn, and that is definitely a positive aspect. In the race maybe I could have aspired to something more, but getting to the finish line while avoiding the many incidents there were is already a good result. We continue to work with the team to grow further in the next stages!”.
