The fourth round of the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse season, run at Monza, closed with Christie-Malucelli's clear victory in the endurance race after the Scot had won race 2 Open GT and finished second in race 1; lots of bad luck for Galli and Sarcinelli...
Monza (ITA). The fourth round of the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse season ends on a positive note for Dinamic Motorsport, which took two victories and a second place on the legendary Monza track thanks to a weekend to remember for Roderick Christie. The Scottish gentleman driver was a great protagonist of the entire weekend, growing steadily to impose himself in the endurance race paired with Matteo Malucelli. A success that added to the victory obtained in race 2 and the second place achieved in race 1 of the Open GT category. Unlucky debut with our colors for Andrea Galli, who saw a well-deserved class victory fade away in race 2 due to a contact in the last kilometers while he was in the lead. Bitter weekend also for Nicola Sarcinelli, who after good chronometric results had to give up a possible top ten due to a race contact. Despite the unfortunate episodes, Dinamic Motorsport returns from Monza with heavy points and confirms its potential ahead of the next appointments of the season.
Rod Christie: “I am really very satisfied, it was a fantastic weekend! After qualifying, the team made some changes to the setup of the car that turned out to be decisive: from then on I had a perfect feeling and was able to express my full potential on the track!”
Andrea Galli: “It was my first weekend with Dinamic Motorsport and I really enjoyed it. The team provided me with an exceptional, well-balanced car that allowed me to express my full potential by taking pole position in race 2. Unfortunately, in both races I was forced to retire, but this does not detract from an overall positive weekend in which I showed my potential and was able to fight at the top of the standings!”.
Nicola Sarcinelli: “It was an unfortunate weekend, because the race pace was good and I was able to steadily improve session after session. Unfortunately, however, the final result of both races did not reflect the potential shown on the track and left a little bitter taste in my mouth”.
