A double podium finish on PCCI’s debut!

Dinamic Motorsport secured two second-place finishes and two third-place finishes with Delli Guanti and Bristot at the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia season opener at Imola; Cheli and D’Amico also had reason to celebrate, whilst Mezzetti was unlucky...

Imola (ITA). It was a weekend full of thrills and twists for Dinamic Motorsport, which took centre stage in the opening round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia at the Imola circuit. The team secured two significant podium finishes in both races, immediately establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with in the series. Pietro Delli Guanti was the star of the show, securing two second-place finishes that allow him to start the championship in the best possible way. Andrea Bristot also made an excellent start, finishing third twice at the end of hard-fought and spectacular races, in which the Dinamic Motorsport drivers engaged in an intense, adrenaline-fuelled battle. There were also positive signs from the young drivers Lorenzo Cheli and Andrea D’Amico, both of whom managed to score their first points in the championship. It was a more unfortunate weekend, however, for William Mezzetti, who was unable to capitalise on the potential he showed during the event. Dinamic Motorsport thus leaves Imola with an extremely positive outcome and the confidence that it can play a leading role for the rest of the season.

Andrea Bristot: “It was a very successful weekend. Coming home with two podium finishes in the first round of the season is certainly a significant achievement, especially given the very high standard of the championship. I’d like to thank the team for their hard work: we’ve got off to a flying start and now we need to keep going!”.

Lorenzo Cheli: “I’m absolutely delighted to have picked up my first points in the league, but above all to have seen clear evidence of significant improvement compared to last year!”.

Andrea D’Amico: “Overall, I’m satisfied with the weekend, especially considering it was my very first outing in this type of car. In qualifying, my lack of experience cost me a bit, but in the races I managed to shake off the nerves of my debut and find a good rhythm. I’m pleased with the two comebacks, and the first point scored in the championship in Race 1 is certainly an important result, as well as an excellent starting point for the rest of the season!”.

Pietro Delli Guanti: “The weekend ended on an extremely positive note: two second-place finishes and a pole position confirm the great potential shown throughout the event. These results provide a solid foundation on which to build for the rest of the season, with the clear aim of striving resolutely for victory in the race. Special thanks go to Q8, which has believed in the project and continues to support this sporting endeavour with confidence!”.

William Mezzetti: “The final result doesn’t reflect our true potential. It was a difficult weekend, but we had the pace, and that gives us confidence ahead of the upcoming races.”.
