Imola (ITA). The fourth round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia season, held at the Imola circuit, offered two intense and exciting races. Dinamic Motorsport confirmed its place among the protagonists of the weekend with its three drivers, despite a final points haul that fell short of expectations. The first race was immediately interrupted by a red flag following an accident at the start. At the restart behind the safety car, Aldo Festante, Dirk Schouten, and Lorenzo Cheli showed great determination, recovering positions with authority. However, the close battle penalized Festante, who was penalized with ten seconds that compromised the final result. In race 2, the level of competitiveness was even higher: Festante and Schouten confirmed their places in the top ten, fighting long and hard for a place in the top 5. However, several collisions affected the outcome of the race: Festante still finished in the top ten, Schouten was demoted due to a penalty for jumping the start, while Cheli achieved his best personal result in the category, with a comeback that took him to the edge of the points zone. Dinamic Motorsport leaves Imola aware of its potential and determined to turn it into concrete results starting from the next round of the season.

Lorenzo Cheli: “I am very satisfied with the progress made this weekend at Imola. After the long summer break and despite my limited experience, we were able to work well and the results prove it. I thank the team for their commitment and professionalism: this is the right direction in which to continue growing!”.

Aldo Festante: “From the very first sessions, we knew we had the pace to stay consistently in the top ten, and qualifying confirmed that. In Race 1, a penalty for contact compromised my final result, while in Race 2, despite a good comeback, a series of incidents prevented me from finishing in the top five. It's a shame to go home with fewer points than we could have achieved, but that's part of racing. We'll continue to work with confidence because the potential is there!”.

Dirk Schouten: “Qualifying didn't go as we expected, and in both races I found myself starting from the middle of the pack. The pace was very competitive, but moving up wasn't easy, partly because of the many close contacts that affected my comeback!”.
